CASH or CHECK:
Contributions by cash or check are the most common type of charitable gifts. It is simple and goes to work immediately. Taxpayers who itemize their deductions can deduct up to 50% of their adjusted gross income. You can also designate donations to go the fund or program of your choice. Donations can be made online by clicking on the Online Donation link below. Donations can also be mailed to our administrative office(write "Donation" in your check's memo line.) All donations are tax deductible, so please include your name and address so we can acknowledge your gift with a receipt. You may mail donations to:

PLEDGES may be paid via monthly charge to your credit card if you wish. Once a month CENTUS would place a charge to your VISA or MasterCard in the amount you specify for the period of time you specify. We can supply you with a pledge form. Please contact Rev. Dr. Paul A. APPRECIATED PROPERTY - SECURITIES AND REAL ESTATE:
Instead of making a cash gift, consider giving CENTUS property that has appreciated in value. When you sell appreciated stocks bonds, mutual funds, or real estate, you generate capital gains tax which is currently taxed at ordinary income tax rates. There is a dual advantage in giving appreciated property. You avoid this tax altogether, and your obtain a deduction for the full fair market appreciated value of the property.

LIFE INSURANCE:
You can name CENTUS as owner and beneficiary of a life insurance policy and receive a deduction for the value of the policy. You can also name CENTUS as a secondary beneficiary for a life insurance policy. For example, you may wish to provide for a surviving spouse. However, if your spouse predeceases you, then CENTUS would receive the proceeds.

MEMORIAL GIFTS:
A memorial gift is usually cash donated for a one, two, five year or perpetual period for a specific cause in honor of a living individual or in memory of someone who is deceased.

WILLS AND LIVING TRUSTS:
A Will can be a favorable way of giving a lasting legacy for the benefit of a charitable interest. After your loved ones have been provided for, you may decide to give a designated amount, a percentage of an estate, or the entire portion of what remains.

A Living Trust is used by many people now to provide for the management and final distribution of their assets. Charitable gifts can be a profitable addition to such living trusts. A provision can be made that the income from a living trust be used to fund your gifts each year until you decide these funds are needed for other purposes. Arranging a gift to CENTUS via a living trust requires a simple amendment.
