To provide professional, affordable psychological counseling and testing that integrates the religious and spiritual resources of those served, and promotes the well-being of families, couples, and individuals of all ages.
To consult with organizations, businesses, and congregations to identify needs and facilitate optimal functioning.
To provide services to clergy and congregations that nurture healthy relationships.
To offer educational groups, classes, seminars, and workshops to clients, the professional community, and the general public to enhance
skills for healthy living.
To train our professional staff to incorporate a client’s spiritual and religious resources, if requested, into the counseling, consultation or educational experience.

CENTUS Counseling, Consulting and Education is a dynamic organization with a rich history of serving individuals, families and organizations in the Denver metro area. While our roots are firmly planted in the Christian and Jewish communities, we serve all people regardless of religious, spiritual or secular perspective. Financial support for our general operation, endowment fund, and fee subsidy to those in need comes through strong relationships with area congregations, businesses, foundations, community organizations, and individuals. We maintain high quality, nationally recognized standards in the services we provide. The CENTUS staff and board seek both to manifest and to promote health and vitality in mind, body, spirit, and community in fulfilling our mission.

HISTORY
For over a quarter century, CENTUS Counseling, Consulting and Education (formerly Samaritan Counseling Center) has offered its services throughout Denver and the Front Range, emphasizing the integration of mind, body, spirit, and community with the traditional practice of counseling and psychotherapy. All of our therapists are sensitive to the diverse backgrounds, beliefs, lifestyles, and individuality of the people who come seeking services provided by CENTUS. Expanding upon their skills as trained, licensed therapists, our clinical staff is attuned to spiritual and interfaith issues, believing in the importance of faith resources in the therapy process and incorporating that into the counseling when appropriate. CENTUS Counseling, Consulting and Education is accredited by the Samaritan Institute.
